How to ensure an uninterrupted Online Learning
As we get accustomed to the new normal, a lot of changes are supposed to be embraced. While some of us are getting used to working from home, some of us are learning from home. With the help of technology, thankfully academic years are not suffering in this pandemic.
It goes without saying that online learning comes with its own plus and minus points. Without a proper schedule and method to follow online learning can look like a tiresome task.
Here we have compiled a list of habits that you must incorporate in order to ensure a smooth online learning schedule for the current academic year.
- Follow a timetable: It is easy to get stuck in laziness and procrastinate all day long. Just like your regular school and college you must try to follow a proper schedule on daily basis. Wake up every day at a same time and most importantly eat and sleep early. Getting out of the schedule is easy but it has bad percussions on the health.
- Take notes: Notes will help you a lot and whether you are attending a traditional learning set up or the new normal, be ready with your notes always. Making personal notes help you study deeply and easily especially during the exam time.
- Sleep early: With distractions at our fingertips at times we end up disrupting our sleeping habits. Lack of sleep can directly affect your concentration and focus during online class. This can further lead to disinterest in studies and completion of work! So, eat on time and sleep early. Keep the binge-watching session for weekends only.
- Exercise: Whether you prefer exercising on music or yoga interests you more – it is important to have a fitness session for your body on daily basis. Three meals a day with less physical movement can make you feel lethargic and dull. So, don’t skip it!
- Collective study goals: Group studies are effective and while everything is happening virtually why not this? Have study goals each day or on weekly basis for your entire group. This does not just ensure that you don’t feel isolated but also helps in studying regularly.
Learning requires dedication and tenacity to be consistent. These small tips will surely help you be on the track however, in the end it is up to you how you divide your time and dedicate it for studying.
